Epicmeets exists for one simple reason: most meetings don’t work the way humans do.

Instead of adding more slides, frameworks, or features, Epicmeets is built on research from behavioral and cognitive psychology, neuroscience, and visual communication. The result is facilitation tools and meeting methods that improve engagement, alignment, and decision-making — naturally, and consistently.

We design meetings to fit human behavior, not force people to adapt to broken formats.

Where It Started

Epicmeets was founded by Robin and Thomas with a shared frustration: smart people, important topics, and still meetings that went nowhere.

Robin brought years of experience in facilitation, strategic management, and research. Thomas brought deep hands-on experience from leading and participating in countless business meetings. Very quickly, they reached the same conclusion: the problem wasn’t motivation or competence — it was how meetings were designed.

Through real facilitation work and research, a set of principles emerged that still guide everything we build today:

  • Humans think visually — not in bullet points
  • Meetings become learning moments when the right data is visible
  • Stories create meaning and stick in memory
  • Psychological safety is a prerequisite for real collaboration
  • Memory is not storage — it’s experience and emotion

These insights didn’t stay theoretical. They became the foundation for Epicmeets and later evolved into the Visentools research project at Aalto University (2023–2024), where academic research was connected directly to real business needs.
